  • The phone has to stay active. Meta disconnects a number that sits unused on the phone for about 14 days.
  • Group chats stay on the phone and don't reach the dashboard.
  • In one-to-one chats, Meta switches off some phone features, such as disappearing messages, view once, live location and broadcast lists.
  • After an admin replies from the phone, the AI stays quiet in that chat for 15, 30 or 60 minutes, or until you switch it back on. You choose this on the WhatsApp number's card.

Can one WhatsApp number work in Admin Canggih and on the phone at once?

Yes. The same store WhatsApp number works in Admin Canggih and in the WhatsApp Business app on the phone at the same time. When you connect WhatsApp, choose the option to keep using the app on your phone. From then on, customer chats also reach the dashboard and get AI replies, while admins can still reply from the phone. When an admin replies from the app, the AI pauses in that chat first so the two answers don't collide.

What is WhatsApp Coexistence?

Coexistence is a way to connect a WhatsApp Business number to a platform like Admin Canggih without leaving the app on the phone. The number stays the same and runs in two places: admins keep using the WhatsApp Business app, and the chats also reach the dashboard so the AI can answer. In the dashboard, the option is called "Tetap pakai aplikasi di HP".

If an admin replies from the phone, does the AI reply too?

No. As soon as an admin replies from the WhatsApp Business app, the AI stays quiet in that chat for the pause you chose: 15, 30 or 60 minutes, or until you switch it back on. So the customer doesn't get two answers. You can switch the AI back on sooner from a button in the chat, and chats the admin hasn't touched keep getting AI replies.

Does anything change on the phone after connecting?

A few things, and these are Meta's rules. The phone has to stay active, because Meta disconnects a number left idle for about 14 days. Group chats stay on the phone and don't reach the dashboard. In one-to-one chats, disappearing messages, view once, live location and broadcast lists are switched off. The app also has to be version 2.24.17 or later.
